Installation of lighting facilities using representative cultural properties and opticl fiber in Samrangjin-eup



(Milyang=Gyeongnam News Today) Samrangjin-eup completed a project to install murals and lighting facilities that incorporates local cultural assets "Jaewongwan" and optical fibers on Songji-ri underground road on the 16th.

The project to install murals and lighting facilities on Songji Underground Road was carried out to create a distinctive underground road in Samrangjin-eup by creating a bright and themed view of the dark and dull underground road signs.

The project is expected to further enhance the dignity of underground roads through murals embroidered by cherry blossoms during the day and night lighting by local cultural assets such as the Magpie Garden and magpies flying. In addition, tourists coming from all over the country to see cherry blossoms will be provided with another attraction, which will be recognized as a new gateway to Samrangjin-eup.

In particular, landscape lighting is expected to become a new trend in landscape lighting installation projects by greatly improving the glare and economy (power consumption and durability) of LEDs by using hundreds of optical fibers on the surface of artificial stones.

"We will try to create a cultural city where culture lives in the lives of the villagers by designing works that utilize local characteristics throughout Samrangjin," said Kim Oe-ho, head of Samrangjin-eup.
