The first resting place in 33 years.

[Landscape Times Reporter Ji Jae-ho] The Hoeryong Cultural Park project located in Howon-dong, Uijeongbu, was completed and was placed in the arms of citizens in 33 years.

Hoeryong Culture Park was a long-term unexecuted urban park decided in 1987 at the first urban planning facility, and was in danger of being effective due to the implementation of the sunset system in July. However, Uijeongbu City pushed for a park construction project to secure park green areas in the city center and opened it in time for last Christmas.

It is a small space of 490 pyeong, but it is expected that the number of park users will be significant as Hoeryong Station, where Subway Line 1 and Uijeongbu Light Railway pass by, is located, and the park is located in numerous shopping mall areas.

It has created an "open space space" in the front of the park and a "garden space" where people can think comfortably and comfortably and heal. In addition, fiber-optic lighting that can improve the park's nightscape and stability has been installed in consideration of the surrounding shopping malls, which are mostly operated at night, and the dark, underdeveloped urban environment has been changed to bright and sophisticated spaces.

Uijeongbu Mayor Ahn Byung-yong directly inspected the park site, checked the surrounding commercial districts, and felt the reality of the local economy. "We hope it will be a valuable place where many people are comforted by Corona 19."
