Creating a shelter under Dongmak Bridge and Gungchon Bridge in the city Go and Janggi with optical fiber lighting
It will become a smart city using media art ICT that responds to applause
Uijeongbu City will decorate the lower spaces of Dongmakgyo Bridge and Gungchongyo Bridge, which citizens often visit, as information and communication technology (ICT) shelters to become smart cities.
According to the city on the 20th, the ICT shelter was built as a living lab of Uijeongbui urban detectives, where civic participants directly find urban problems in their daily lives and seek solutions with smart technology.
Smart Go and Janggi boards using low-power fiber optic lighting were installed under the Dongmak Bridge for the first time in the country. With the subtle optical fiber lighting, Go and Janggi were played even in the dark, and the board size was made 1.1 times larger.
In addition, in order to help bicycle users convenience, the company has prepared a disaster-free air injector along the river for the first time. The injector is designed so that it does not float away from river overflows and does not break down.
In the lower part of the Gungchon Bridge, "Interaction Media Art" was installed to play video and sound in response to the sound of applause. The video is implemented in a way that leaves and snow are more visible according to the sound of applause. It is expected to make citizens' eyes happy by playing different videos depending on the season.
The city's ecological river department has prepared a grandstand to use the lower space of the Gungchon Bridge as a performance hall. It is designed to make it easier for citizens to enjoy culture and art in their daily lives.
Mayor Kim Dong-geun said, "Thanks to the Living Lab Citizen Participation Group, the dark and long lower part of the Gungchon Bridge has turned into a lively shelter with video and music. In the future, we will collect various opinions from the civic participation group and solve urban problems to make Uijeongbu a good place to live."
